An Entrepreneurship Forum to Inspire OFWs to Venture into Business.

Dubai, January 21, 2024 – The Filipino Social Club (FilSoc) successfully hosted a dynamic business forum on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Swissôtel Al Murooj Dubai. The event brought together a diverse audience, featuring three accomplished Filipina entrepreneurs as speakers, attracting club members, Filipino community leaders, businessmen and women, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs.

The distinguished speakers at the forum were Ms. Sugar Espadera Lumingkit, a multi awarded public speaker, and Human Resource professional; Ms. Mariben Eustaquio, an experienced business consultant having supported over 3,500 companies; and Ms. Thelma Vargas, multi-millionaire creator and the Dubai Chairwoman of i-fern, a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company, shared their journeys and insights into entrepreneurship, providing valuable guidance to the attendees.

The event received an added boost with the presence of Vice Consul Jim Jimeno from the Philippine Consulate in Dubai and Northern Emirates, showing support and appreciation for FilSoc’s initiatives in empowering Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and fostering connections among various sectors.

In addition to the keynote presentations, the forum featured a lively panel discussion that allowed participants to engage with the speakers, ask questions, and exchange ideas. This interactive session facilitated a valuable dialogue, addressing the concerns and queries of aspiring entrepreneurs within the community.
