FilSoc Cares
An assistance program to aid identified Filipino expatriates and other nationalities in the UAE hit hard directly or indirectly by the pandemic crisis on the first quarter 2020.
In-kind donations of food and essential items were distributed by club volunteers to both members and non-members in need in collaboration with local government agencies, institutions such as Emirates Red Crescent, and the Philippine Embassy.
FilSoc Live
An online program of the organization hosting activities such as webinars on various topics.
The project started in May 2020 with the aim to help enhance the viewer’s knowledge and skills through inviting resource speakers from different fields of expertise.
Besides webinars, the project will continue with plans to explore other program formats.
